“If we don’t offer ourselves to the unknown, our senses dull. Our world becomes small and we lose our sense of wonder. Our eyes don’t lift to the horizon; our ears don’t hear the sounds around us. The edge is off our experience, and we pass our days in a routine that is both comfortable and limiting. We wake up one day and find that we have lost our dreams in order to protect our days.”

What a wonderful way of putting it..."offering ourselves to the unknown"
How sublime.

Such powerful words! MY subconscious is still saying "WOW" while I process the layers of meanings. I am especially caught with the first line, like Possum. I hope I always keep my sense of wonder, and always have a bit of discomfort as I travel through my days.

The last line is the one that resonates with me the most. It's so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day and forget about the big dreams of life.
