  1. I remember reading Krishnamurti at a young age, and being astounded by the ideas that were so new to me...first times of reflective thinking...Siddhartha by Herman Hesse also had a huge impact on me in that time period.

    1. Herman Hesse is one of my mother-in-law's favorite authors. I've never read any of his books, so I might start with Siddhartha.
