  1. This is a great quote and I loved the picture. It is so true we need both the dark and light. Thanks for sharing this today:~)

  2. Gee this quote really caught my attention. This one is a good one to have on hand for some of those darker times.

  3. Sara--You're welcome! I've recently been reading about the importance of dark or shadow times, and thought this quote was a good way to sum it up.

  4. Claire--It's good (but hard) to remember that the dark times have their importance and place in our lives just as do the lighter times.

  5. Yes, sometimes just getting to Friday can feel like an accomplishment! We think of providing incentive to people we might supervise or to children but seldom think we could use some. I think your field trip days sound like a good idea. When I finally get settled I'd like to get a pass to the San Diego Zoo so even though it is a good distance from my new home, it's a super spot to draw and paint in.

Thanks for the award. I am so behind right now I didn't even say thanks when I should have!
